A Knowledge Architect, Educator, and Author, Patsy's passion is creating effective and efficient environments for learning and teaching with technology. A science, math, and technology teacher in K-12 as well as an adjunct professor at the graduate school level, she has been an educator for many decades. She is a celebrated presenter at regional and national conferences, workshop facilitator, administrator, educator, and keynote speaker who has presented internationally and in 45 of the 50 states.
Patsy is privileged to be an Apple Distinguished Educator (class of '95), Texas Technology Coordinator of the Year, and presented with the ISTE Making It Happen Pink Jacket. She was also honored in Washington DC with four Computer World Smithsonian Laureate awards for innovative practices in educational technology. She has authored six books, the last three focused on the iPad, iPod touch, and iPhone.
